Forgotten user ID or password

User ID

Your user ID is automatically assigned to you and cannot be changed. It will remain the sameÌýeven if you move departments or change your status (e.g. from student to staff).

If you’re not sure what your user ID is, go to (make sure you’ve got your ÂÒÂ×Ðã ID card to hand.ÌýYou’ll need it to find your UPI).

Enter the required information, and your user ID will be displayed.


Password

Have you already registered your mobile number on MyAccount?

If you have registered your phone number with the MyAccount service, visit the page and select theÌý'I have forgotten my passwordÌýor it has expired'Ìýoption. Confirm your user ID and the last five digits ofÌýyour phone number. AÌýcode will be sent to your phone allowing you to reset your password.

Not yet registered your mobile number?

If you have not already registered your phone number, you will need toÌývisit IT ServicesÌýin person with your ÂÒÂ×Ðã ID card. But...

Staff and Visitors

If you are off-site and unable to do this, firstÌýcontact your Computer RepÌýwho can arrange with the IT Services to register your phone number on your behalf.

Students

If you are off-site and unable to visit, contactÌýIT ServicesÌýwho can arrange to verify your identity. You will need your student number and UPI and may be asked for other information to help identify yourself. Staff on the IT Services will then be able to register your details with MyAccount.

Other users:

ContactÌýIT ServicesÌýin the first instance. They may require information about your association with ÂÒÂ×Ðã, including UPI, student number or other references
