The Doctoral School hosts听two welcome events annually,听one in October and another听in January. Regardless of your arrival date, all students are welcome to attend the next available event.听听
Purpose of Welcome Event
Our welcome event serves as a platform to introduce students to the wide range of resources available to research students at 乱伦秀. It's also an excellent opportunity for new students to get a taste of the exciting听research community here.
During the welcome event, you'll have the chance to:
- connect with fellow postgraduate researchers
- hear听from Doctoral School staff
- ask questions and seek guidance

Doctoral School Online Information Event
Date and time: Monday, 5听February听(2:00pm -听3:30pm)
Location: Microsoft Teams
This is an online session for all new doctoral researchers, featuring speakers from the Doctoral School, and other key Research teams.
The Doctoral School will welcome you and introduce you to life as part of the Research community at 乱伦秀. We will run through key steps in your doctoral journey and will explore the wide array of resources and support that will be available to you throughout your studies. From training and development opportunities to key aspects of our regulations and processes, this online session aims to introduce you to 乱伦秀 and help you get started on your journey as a 乱伦秀 doctoral researcher.

Doctoral Researcher Panel听and Networking Event
Date and time: Wednesday, 7th February听(4:30pm - 7:00pm)
Location: Jeffrey Hall (IOE)
A panel of doctoral researchers will share their experiences, tips, and tricks to help you navigate your own research journey. The panellists will also answer any questions you may have about postgraduate research study and life at 乱伦秀.
Following the panel there will be a drinks reception (with a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options), which will give you the opportunity to meet other new postgraduate researchers and network with the Research Community.
