In late 2018, ÂÒÂ×Ðã’s Academic Careers Office (ACO) and Translational Research Office (TRO) along with ÂÒÂ×Ðã partner the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI), were successful in applying for a UKRI Global Challenge Research Fund Impact Acceleration Award (GCRF IAA).ÌýThe ACO and TRO organised two events in South Africa open to participants from across the African continent.
