1. One or more scholarships known as the SSEES Excellence Scholarship may be awarded in each session.
2. These scholarships are awarded on the recommendation of the Director of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
3. These scholarships are awarded to outstanding PhD students in the final stages of writing up their dissertations.
4. Consideration will be given to students鈥� academic profile and record of academic excellence in the doctoral programme to date.
5. The total value of the scholarship is 拢2,000.
6. The qualifications of candidates are considered by the Research Committee.
7. The scholarship shall be advertised in each academic year for activity taking place later in the academic year.
8. The College reserves the right to vary these regulations should it become necessary to do so in order to ensure the continued use of the resources of the fund.
9. Awards are subject to the provision of the General Regulations.
