ÂÒÂ×Ðã Research, Innovation and Global Engagement (RIGE)Ìý–Ìýled by Professor Geraint ReesÌý–Ìýseeks to maximise the beneficial economic, cultural and social impact of research and innovation at ÂÒÂ×Ðã.

Our Research support teams within RIGE:

• are responsible for ÂÒÂ×Ðã’s participation in the Research Excellence Framework (REF)
• ensure that research complies with our research ethics and integrity guidance
• coordinate large-scale funding bids through our research coordination teams
• ensure,Ìýthrough the ÂÒÂ×Ðã Doctoral School, that the quality of research training at ÂÒÂ×Ðã is at the highest possible standard
• enable researchers to maximise the beneficialÌýimpact of their work
• lead on a number of cross-institutional initiatives to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, including the ÂÒÂ×Ðã Grand Challenges and Research Domains
• facilitate academic collaboration with policymakers through the ÂÒÂ×Ðã Public Policy programme.Ìý
