Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Please see A-levels for subject requirements. Study must contain subjects relevant to the programme of study at ÂÒÂ×Ðã.

In addition, ÂÒÂ×Ðã will consider applicants who have successfully completed one year of a Lisans Diplomasi (bachelor's degree) at a Turkish university recognised by ÂÒÂ×Ðã, with a CGPA of at least 3.3/4.0.

Please note that students graduating from a Turkish high school with the State, Private of Anatolian High School Diploma are not eligible for direct entry to ÂÒÂ×Ðã undergraduate programmes and should consider the ÂÒÂ×Ðã's International Foundation Year.

Graduate Entry Requirements

Entry to graduate programmes at ÂÒÂ×Ðã usually requires either an upper second-class (2:1) or a lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree. Please note entry to some doctoral programmes (e.g. MPhil/PhD) will also require a Master's degree. The minimum entry requirements for individual programmes can be found on the Graduate prospectus.Ìý

The equivalent qualifications from Turkey can be found below:

First class (1)

• Bachelor's degree (Lisans Diplomasi) or Engineer’s Diploma (Mühendis Diplomasi) with a GPA of 3.3/4.0 or 80%

Upper second-class (2:1)

• Bachelor's degree (Lisans Diplomasi) or Engineer’s Diploma (Mühendis Diplomasi) with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 75%

Lower second-class (2:2)

• Bachelor's degree (Lisans Diplomasi) or Engineer’s Diploma (Mühendis Diplomasi) with a GPA of 2.7/4.0 or 70%

Other acceptable qualifications:

• Medical/Dental/Pharmacy degree
• Master's (Yüksek Lisans Diplomasi)
• Doctorate

Turkish Embassy Fee Partnership

ÂÒÂ×Ðã part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with the Turkish Ministry of Education for Turkish students.

These awards are available for Master's programmes.

ÂÒÂ×Ðã offers a scholarship worth 10% of the tuition fee to scholars sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of Education under their standard award programmes.

The ÂÒÂ×Ðã Global Masters Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from lower-income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master's degree studies at ÂÒÂ×Ðã.

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations.

The scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential.

Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree.
