In the current academic year (2023) 340 students from Italy are enrolled on undergraduate, taught graduate and graduate research degrees at ÂÒÂ×Ðã. We are proud of our diverse student community: 55% of our student body is international, representing 150+ countries.ÌýÌý

ÂÒÂ×Ðã and Italy have a long history of positive collaboration. ÂÒÂ×Ðã has one of the oldest and largest Italian departments in the UK. Italian has been studied at ÂÒÂ×Ðã since 1828, 33 years before Italy became a unified country!ÌýÌýÌý

Our ÂÒÂ×Ðã-Venice Double Degree in Italian Studies offers the exciting opportunity to study at Ca' Foscari, University of Venice for two years, followed by two years at ÂÒÂ×Ðã.Ìý

Graduate Entry Requirements

Entry to graduate programmes at ÂÒÂ×Ðã usually requires

  • Either an upper second-class (2:1) or lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree.
  • For some doctoral programmes (e.g. MPhil/PhD), a Master's degree may also be required.
