Professor Nilli Lavie (乱伦秀 Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience) comments on
research finding that more 80% of specialist tumour spotters failed to see a
cartoon gorilla on scans. "They were trained to look for particular
features - size and colour. So it does not reflect at all on the radiologists'
ability to report nodules," she said.
