Description

For students in Year 2 of a degree programme with Ukrainian. The module is taken in conjunction with SEEU0017 Ukrainian Culture and Text A. This module aims to provide students with an overview of key aspects of Ukrainian culture and its evolution, through the study of a variety of texts (in the Ukrainian original), films and other audio-visual materials. In order to access the Ukrainian-language resources used in the course, students need to have completed the Ukrainian Language Level 1 module, or to demonstrate听 equivalent competence in the language. The mode of study is through weekly two-hour classes in Terms 1 and 2, and the module is assessed by means of a two-hour end-of-year examination. The module is taken in conjunction with SEEU0017 Ukrainian Culture and Text A.
