Description

This module aims to cover the advanced topics in corporate finance. We are going to cover topics such as:

Market

Efficiency

How companies issue securities

Payout policy

Capital Structure Choice

Investment and Financing Decisions

Valuation

Risk Management

Options and Other Derivatives

The module equips the student with sound theoretical knowledge and practical tools necessary to conduct accurate financial analysis and making financing and investment decisions.

Basic mathematical skills and extensive use of computer-based tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel) are required. Prerequisite foundation modules are integrated throughout the module and students are assumed to have a working knowledge of microeconomics.
