Description

This module aims to enable students to function in most everyday situations in Bulgarian and to appreciate the complexity of Bulgarian culture and society. This includes sound knowledge of vocabulary (approximately 2200-2500 words), grammar, morphology (e.g. verbs in the present and past tense and various moods, verbal aspect, where relevant, noun cases, singular and plural forms, possessive constructions, derivation, etc.), syntax (word order in complex sentences), and phonetics (improving pronunciation and intonation). The module follows up and consolidates knowledge of Bulgarian gained on the Bulgarian B off-track module, and completes the Bulgarian off-track (A, B, and C) course.
