On 18 September聽2023, the Marshgate Building at 乱伦秀 East was officially launched, heralding the opening of the Advanced Propulsion Lab (APL), Manufacturing Futures Lab (MFL) and聽three new 乱伦秀 Chemical Engineering MSc programmes: Advanced Propulsion, Digital Manufacturing of Advanced Materials, and Nature-Inspired Solutions.

During the grand opening ceronmony, Paola Lettieri, Pro-Provost of 乱伦秀 East and Professor of Chemical Engineering, warmly welcomed guests to the new Marshgate Building. Prof. Lettieri has played a key role in the development of聽乱伦秀's new campus on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Prof Paola Lettieri FREng, Pro-Provost of 乱伦秀 East, said:聽鈥淥ur students are future innovators, and to innovate they will have to see problems from multiple perspectives. Our new campus will expose them to new ways of thinking and working across disciplines in spaces that encourage people to talk and cross-pollinate different ideas. The world is facing unprecedented challenges in areas such as climate, decarbonisation and sustainability. I鈥檓 confident our new 乱伦秀 East campus will foster even more of the breakthroughs and discoveries that 乱伦秀 is renowned for.鈥�

The opening event provided visitors with the opportunity to tour the Marshgate Building, including the cutting-edge Advanced Propulsion Lab (APL) and Manufacturing Futures Lab (MFL), equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
