Partnerships with Europe

乱伦秀 has longstanding partnerships with many leading European institutes and organisations.

They range from multimillion pound joint research centres to seed-funding for individual and regional research collaborations, from collaborative doctoral schemes to dual degrees, from staff and student exchange schemes to joint workshop series, from CPD provision to collaborative MOOCs.

Since the British referendum to leave the European Union, activities and partnership schemes with European institutions have if anything increased.

Highlights connected to the region include:

A dual Masters degree in Brain and Mind Sciences in conjunction with the Sorbonne University and the Ecole Normale Sup茅rieure
Close co-operation between the UK Dementia Research Institute and KU Leuven, led by Professor Bart De Strooper.

Networks and diplomacy

乱伦秀 maintains close partnerships with European Higher Education and research organisations not just bilaterally, but multilaterally.

Principally, we do so via our membership鈥� and active leadership 鈥搃n the , a network of 23 research-intensive universities in Europe. LERU advocates for the promotion of basic research and the values of high-quality teaching within an environment of internationally competitive research.

As a member of , particularly through its international arm, 乱伦秀 also engages actively in promoting universities abroad and creating new opportunities for the sector.

We also maintain a regular and close contact with scientific and higher education attach茅s at European embassies in London and in Brussels, as well as with specific higher education and research agencies from other Member States, such as the .
