Our accredited BA and BSc degrees are designed to provide extensive general training in archaeology from some of the world's leading archaeological researchers.
The 乱伦秀 Institute of Archaeology was one of 7 universities to be included in the听first cohort of archaeology departments to be awarded CIfA accreditation. Our undergraduate students learn about a full range of theoretical, analytical and field methods and also have the opportunity to follow their interests in particular chronological periods, geographical areas or special fields of study.听

Diverse range of archaeological topics
The Institute of Archaeology's degree programmes offer an unrivalled variety of optional modules, covering a very diverse range of archaeological topics in both a theoretical and a practical manner.
Optional modules include everything from Roman Art and Architecture to Archaeometallurgy and from Archaeology and Plants to Human Evolution and the Archaeology of Mesoamerica.听View all Modules at a glance. Fieldwork
Most of our Undergraduate Programmes听include听partially funded fieldwork opportunities.听Our students undertake fieldwork both in the UK and overseas - recent locations include听Spain, France and Montenegro to Belize, China and Uganda.
