ProfileÌý

Sex Estimation of Juvenile Remains Using Dental Metrics

Investigation of global sexual dimorphism of dental metrics and their applications for the development of a method for estimating the sex of subadult skeletal remains. Specific focuses on the development of a singular method, rather than a region- or age-specific model for subadult remains. This work seeks to fill a methodological gap in the development of biological profiles of subadult remains. In turn, this allows for more robust study of childhood archaeology and a more nuanced understanding of childhood in the past.
